John Pym

If you are wondering if I am the John Pym you know, then here is a brief life history.

As a young child we moved around a bit and I lived in Cowplain, Tewkesbury, Beer and Bournemouth; before settling in Hitchin at the age of 8. I left Hitchin in 1980 when I went to do Maths (and rock climbing) at Exeter University. Following that I moved to Cwmbran until the late 1990's when I moved to Tintinhull, Somerset.

As a computer programmer I worked at Ferranti for number of years, had a brief spell at Logsys and Bae in 1990, before spending 4 years at Compute Bridgend. Following that I spent 7 years at Aerosystems in Yeovil.

Over the years I have spent a lot of time rock climbing, sailing, and playing squash. I was also a founder member of the Wye Bother Canoe Club and have had a go at most of the other adventure sports.

Over the last few years I have been suffering from Lyme Disease, and now run the website for Lyme Disease Action.
